Decorative glass is a popular material for entrance and interior doors, interior partitions and window units where the glazing needs to be less transparent. The pattern on the surface of this glass is not only decorative: it also partly diffuses light, creating an interesting play of light and shade.
The main purpose of decorative glass is to make the surface more attractive and set it apart from ordinary clear glass. This can be achieved with a range of glass processing techniques such as etching, sandblasting and pattern printing, as well as special films or coatings.
One of the advantages of decorative glass is the freedom to create unique designs and patterns that suit any interior style. Patterns can be abstract, geometric or floral, or can even imitate the texture of wood or metal. This lets you emphasise the individuality of a room and give it character.
